How We Treat Rheumatoid Arthritis

I treat my patients by combination of alternative and traditional medicine. So I use laser instead of acupuncture in addition to a special diet and vitamins for controlling pain, number of tender joints and limitation of movement. However, I use second line drugs such as Salazopyrin, methotrexate and anti-malaria to reduce disease activity parameters such as ESR,CRP and radiological erosions. I could not treat RA by alternative medicine alone since there was no controlled double blinded studies found that alternative medicine methods could halt the radiological progression.
